Minerva Alvarado began working for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) in March 2017 as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to the President/CEO. Minerva assists in promoting the mission of BBBS, helps provide outreach to families and the community, and oversees administrative duties for the Agency and Board of Directors.
She is a member of the Board for Gateway Community Action Partnership and is a Volunteer Tutor and Advisory Board Member for Literacy Volunteers of Salem/Cumberland Counties. Minerva also volunteers for The Salvation Army Vineland Corps., Project Thanksgiving, and Cumberland County Code Blue. She attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and graduated from Vineland High School. Minerva has held positions as a Marketing Coordinator, Community Relations Specialist, Tech Support Analyst, Training & Development Coordinator, and Bilingual Legal Secretary. She is a Trustee Emeritus for Habitat for Humanity of Hudson County where she served as Trustee and Public Relations Chair for 10 years. Minerva enjoys music and cooking. She currently resides in Vineland, New Jersey.
